Skills:
Before becoming a Mercenary, Yusei underwent harsh training to become a Paladin so he does know some basic White Magic and is exceptionally skilled at both the Blade and the Shield. During his travels to Kugane, he also learned how to become even more efficient with swords due learning how to become a Samurai along with how they fought.

The Story

Yusei grew up in the bustling city of Ul’dah. His parents passed away when he was but a mere child and had to be taken in by a family friend. Growing up, he would aspire to become a hero. “One that would inspire others to do good, even if it meant making sacrifices for the sake of others”. At the age of 10, Yusei went on to become a Paladin of the Sultana Order. During this time, he was mentored by his father’s best friend to hone his skills as a knight and to become the next generation wielder of the legendary holy sword “Excalibur”. Once his knightly training was over, Yusei was able to take on real missions with his teacher while obtaining the rank of 2nd Shield. However from here on, Yusei’s path would take a dark turn.During a reconnaissance mission in Ishgard, Yusei’s team was ambushed by heretics. Yusei did his best to lead his fellow soldiers to safety but he didn’t account for enemy reinforcement and thus his allies fell in battle. Seeing this many fallen soldiers traumized him. And to make matters worse, his mentor who was also helping Yusei help out their fellow teammates died during the chaos. Filled with so much rage, the young man went on a killing spree and killed all of the heretics while swearing out in vain using the holy sword as well. After he came back to his senses, Yusei was terrified by the amount of bloodshed that was all over the battlefield. Filled with grief and pain, he left Ishgard with a blackened heart.Seeing that he had broken his Paladin Oath, Yusei would put down his beloved sword and shield and left Ul’dah as he felt unworthy of becoming a Paladin, or much so a “Hero”. He took up on becoming a Gunbreaker after leaving the order and is now currently doing Mercenary work to make ends meet. While Yusei is not doing Mercenary work, he takes part in doing other occupations such as being a well-rounded adventurer, a great chef for those that want to taste his cuisines, or even a bartender to people that want a nice glass of the good stuff.
